If you are a member of AAA, note that the organization has a prescription savings plan that includes your pets as well as yourself. Have your veterinarian write out a prescription. Then simply go to AAA Prescriptions to print out your card, add your AAA membership number, and present the card and prescription at the pharmacy. A list of participating pharmacies can be found at the url above. It includes CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Publix, among others.

Publix, CVS, and a number of other stores also offer a handful of common antibiotics (and sometimes other drugs) free or at very low prices for both people and animals, so check with your local pharmacy about their pet prescription policy too.
